Located in the lucious Somerset countryside, on the edge of Exmoor National Park and a stones throw from the coast. We are fortunate to be right next door to Washford Train Station, which is on the West Somerset Railway - a heritage railway in England, which proves very popular to visitors, train enthusiasts and of course children.
We are a few minutes drive from Watchet, which is a bustling harbour town, with a new marina and a station for the West Somerest Railway.
We are also just 10 minutes drive from Minehead, which is where Exmoor meets the sea. Sitting on the very edge of the National Park, Minehead is ideal for lovers of the coast and the countryside.
Our lounge and dining area, are traditional and cozy, with a strong theme of Steam Trains running through. We offer a good selection of home cooked meals and a daily specials board. Our Sunday Carvery runs from 12pm to 3pm, and proves very popular with locals and passers by.
Our newly refurbished rooms are tastfully decorated and very comfortable, all are en-suite, with plasma screen tv's and tea and coffee facilities.
We have more than adequate parking and a good sized childrens garden at the rear, which proves a popular place, to wave to the passing steam trains.
